They have so much character and style. Perhaps before I leave China I will take a pair of doors with me, no doors I have seen in the states match the character and mystique of a nice, red, worn looking door found in a Beijing hutong.

Jon, Nice set of photos! Doors have always intrigued me as well. I have a small door about a foot or so tall on the wall in my living room, it elicits a lot questions... some people don't get it!?!?! UT
ReplyDeleteI know, they do draw the eye don't they? I am sure there is something spiritual about doors. It is hard to not focus on an interesting door and see what, if anything/anyone comes out of it.
